Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Plant Operator to join our Chlor Alkali Plant based in Kwinana, WA on a Permanent Full Time basis.This position is a continuous shift position operating on 4 days on [2 day shifts then 2 night shifts] and 4 days off roster.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control all aspects of plant operation under the direction of the shift supervisor.
Carry out a wide variety of duties when spare operator as directed by Supervisor or Superintendent
Carry out routine laboratory analyses as required
Complete training courses as set out in the training matrix
Provide relief for other operators as required
Become competent in all aspects of plant operation
Assisting maintenance staff if/when required
Ensure that all alarms and trips of equipment related to the SIS and BMS safety systems are reported in the Incident Reporting Register
Ensure all tanker loading is carried out efficiently and safely and all relevant records are accurate.
