About the Role

Our Chlor-Alkali manufacturing facility located in Lytton QLD produces Sodium Hypochlorite, Hydrochloric Acid and Caustic Soda for the water treatment industry, swimming pool industry and local industrial customers. We have a dedicated distribution network that services our clients throughout QLD and NSW.

We are seeking a permanent full-time Customer Service Team Leader to join our small, friendly Customer Service team, who are responsible for all general customer service assistance to our Queensland and New South Wales customer base. This role sees someone providing leadership, training, and support to the team, along with ensuring our customers have a positive and efficient experience. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Coogee’s product range
  • Provide leadership, training, and development to the customer services team
  • Develop and support a positive team culture of continuous improvement
  • Review and improve systems and processes
  • Contact customers via phone and email regarding orders and deliveries (e.g. customer queries; delivery allocations; proof of delivery) 
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of Customer queries and coordinating with other departments
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy in data entry, customer records and delivery information across the team
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture

The successful candidate 

We are looking for a committed and dependable leader, who has:

  • Previous experience with customer service in a leadership role
  • The ability to build long-term internal and external relationships
  • Good levels of computer and administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or other data entry system highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • A positive and friendly demeanour with an excellent phone manner
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with time sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise work with excellent time management skills
  • Experience in data management systems
